Parish President Ernest Freyou announces the closure of the Chastant Road Bridge between Highway 88 and Freetown Road effective immediately. The bridge is located approximately 1¼ miles southeast of Highway 88. The closure is necessary due to unsafe conditions of the bridge and will remain closed until further notice.
