The Iberia Parish Registrar of Voters Office, housed in Suite 110 on the first floor of the Iberia Parish Courthouse, is responsible for the registration of all voters, as well as the administration and enforcement of the rules and laws of the Secretary of State relating to voting matters. This office is also responsible for conducting early voting, and absentee voting by mail.

Employed by Iberia Parish Government since January 1976, Adams has served as registrar since 1985. Adams also serves as president of the Parish Board of Election Supervisors, with four additional members:  Clerk of Court Mike Thibodeaux, a representative of the Democratic Party, a representative of the Republican Party and one appointee named by the governor.
