The Finance Department is responsible for all financial accounting functions of Parish Government. This includes collection of all revenues and payment of all expenditures and related reconciliations. Budgeting and auditing are also essential functions of the department.

As a division of the Finance Department, Parish Government’s Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing all materials, supplies, equipment and services used by all of its departments and agencies.
